The I 90 floating Bridge tunnels were experiencing leaking ground water into the auto exhaust tunnels. Pro-Seal Products technical team designed a Pro-Seal water management system to meet the need to keep the exhaust tunnels dry.
The utility tunnels at the LA Trade Technical Institute were experiencing exhausted rebar and carbonated concrete in the ceiling. This ceiling is the structural slab under the five story structure above the tunnel. Pro-Seals technical team designed a repair to repair the concrete, chemically create cathodic protection of the rebar and stop carbonation to reclaim the structural integrity of the ceiling.
Pro-Seal Products are used on many transit tunnels. Pro-Seal's products and systems are on every transit system from the MARTA in Atlanta, GA, to the Bart in San Francisco and LA Metro in Los Angeles California, to Seattle Transit in Washington State to name just a few. We have our products in projects in disciplines from; structural repair, concrete repair, patching, rust control, graffiti protection and graffiti removal, decorative finish seals for stone, concrete and masonry, concrete curing, waterproofing, methane barriers and so much more.
Pro-Seal Products Water Management Systems incorporate Pro-Seal 34 caulking sealant, Pro-Seal AL Board, Pro-Seal ProDrain, Pro-Seal DP-36 and any of a variety of pro-Seal Liquid membrane Systems based upon goals and need of a project. Always contact Pro-Seals technical team for design assistance, guide specifications and/or contractors specializing in Pro-Seals materials.
Pro-Seal Products designed this system to repair the collapsing tunnel ceiling. the Pro-Seal system was designed such that the greater the downward force the stronger the upward lift of the system. materials incorporated were Pro-Seal PowerPatch Flexible, Pro-Seal DP-36, Pro-Seal CCP (Chemical Cathodic Protection) System and Pro-Seal Liquid Steel.
Pro-Seal products has materials and systems for controlling the flow of water into a concrete structure, from the inside of the concrete or masonry structure, such as basements or below grade structures, against the direction of the water flow. This type of concrete repair is referred to as Pro-Seal Negative Side or Negative Pressure Waterproofing. Pro-Seals, designed systems, are put in place during active water flow, reducing preparation time, and application time. Pro-Seals materials cure in the active fluid or water flow environments, to stop the flow and egress of fluids or water through the pours of the concrete, holes in concrete, cracks in concrete, and/or the joints of the concrete.
